About this build
Built to own 1440p. This is the 12GB edition of the RTX 3080, with a wider 384-bit memory bus and 2GB more GDDR6X than the original card, so it pushes Cyberpunk 2077 past 90 FPS at 1440p on max settings and has the VRAM headroom for ultra textures and ray tracing where 10GB cards start to run out. Counter-Strike 2 runs well past 250 FPS at 1440p, and the Ryzen 5 5500X3D's 96MB of stacked 3D V-Cache keeps frame times smooth in the CPU-heavy games that matter most, from competitive shooters to big open worlds. A perfect match for a 144–240Hz 1440p monitor, and a rare chip that never saw wide retail release here. Plug in and play.
