About this build

Made for high-refresh 1440p. This is the 12GB RTX 3080, with a 384-bit memory bus and 2GB more GDDR6X than the original card, so it has room for ultra textures and ray tracing where 10GB cards run short. Galax's card runs Cyberpunk 2077, Alan Wake 2 and Warzone on high settings at 1440p, with DLSS lifting frame rates further where it's supported. The 8-core Ryzen 7 8700F sits on AM5 on Gigabyte's B650 Gaming X AX V2 with built-in WiFi, so the CPU can be upgraded later without changing the board. 16GB of DDR5, a 1TB Crucial P3 NVMe and a Deepcool CE360 AIO round it out inside a Phanteks XT M5. Plug in and play.
